Me and spidey having a VERY early career metal moment in this pic. 😜 This is one of the rare club gigs we did with the full-on back-lit parachute, as well as the menacing-metal-spider drum riser, equipped with 1000 watt PAR Cans for eyes. It was very high tech at the time (no laughing please!) but not road worthy AT ALL. It wobbled all over the place and the lights were so close and so hot they were … well, dangerous! And don’t get me going on the era of make-shift pyro… Amazing we LIVED to tell. Gotta love the ’80s! 🧨🎸🥁🎤
