Reconciling Rock ‘N’ Roll and Motherhood – July 18, 2021
After losing two best friends, an aunt, and her mother, as well as walking through both her father and her husband’s cancer journey, this cause is close to Lee’s heart. She joined an all-star cast of Canadian rock stars donating their time and talents to raise awareness and over $750,000 for the BC Cancer Foundation in 2022 and 2023.
Lee currently partners with Writers and Rockers Coffee Company with 100% of her artist proceeds from her BodyRock blend going to the Never Alone Cancer Foundation, an organization providing emotional and financial support for families and individuals living with cancer.
Lee is a huge believer in the healing power of music and is a regular contributor to clinics across Canada with Guitars for Vets, an organization that offers free new (and gently used) guitars and complimentary lessons to CAF and RCMP members affected by service-related PTSD and other disabilities.
