What an incredible trip back to my former hometown! Not only did I get to perform with New Choir – Canada’s premier Rock Choir – for International Women’s Day, but I was privileged to be part of a panel with 5 other amazing Brampton women sharing their inspiring journeys of healing and helping others. THEN, I got to hang with my fam and visit the old haunts: schools I attended, the little home I grew up in, our old church, the ‘original’ shopping mall … even the Dairy Queen (which was our coveted summer treat!) is still in the same location! 😉 And heck yeah, I had a big ice cream and it made me very happy! ❤️🇨🇦🎤
