New show incorporates old and new

In response to numerous inquiries, Lee’s new 2008 show will feature material from her latest releases Beautiful Things and Slick Chick – and for the first time in nearly a decade - revisit her popular rock hits. A comprehensive and entertaining evening that showcases her versatility as an artist and performer, response from fans to this personal selection of songs has been overwhelmingly positive. Check out tour dates for an upcoming show in your area.

Lee will also continue to perform jazz-only shows.

MTV's Cribs will feature Lee's home in an episode next month. Catch the premiere Tuesday May 8 at 6PM PDT on MTV Canada.

IT'S A BOY!

Lee and her husband John are thrilled to announce an addition to the family. Jett Forrester Cody was born January 7th, 2006. Weighing in at 5 lbs 1 oz, he arrived a bit earlier than expected, but Mom and baby are both doing great.

APRIL 2005

MuchMoreMusic rightfully includes Lee Aaron in their Listed episode entitled "20 Best Rocker Chicks", which receives its final airing on Saturday April 16 at Noon ET.

JANUARY 2005

Lee Aaron will be participating in Songposium on Sunday January 30. Songposium is a one-day seminar presented by the Songwriters Association of Canada to help songwriters hone their craft. Lee will be on a panel evaluating demos.

Lee will also be talking about her favourite '70s songs on CBC Radio One's 50 Tracks, part of the programme Sounds Like Canada, broadcast weekdays at 11AM. She will be on the show all week, Monday to Friday, February 7 to February 11.

And finally, in case you didn't notice (or use your Refresh button), there are new tour dates to take note of. Due to the overwhelming response to her performances this past week, Lee's February engagement at the Bearfoot Bistro has been extended!

SEPTEMBER 2004

Emotional Rain, Lee's 1994 effort originally released on A&M, will be reissued on September 28th, 2004. With this release, Lee's first eight rock albums are all back in print.
The Lee Aaron Project through Powerline are available on Unidisc. Emotional Rain will be released on Solid Gold Records.

IT'S A GIRL!

Lee and her husband John are thrilled to announce the birth of their first child, a baby girl named Angella, on June 7, 2004. Both mother and daughter are doing great and thank everyone for their happy wishes.

MARCH 2004

The new Lee Aaron CD, Beautiful Things, is now available online and at finer music stores.

The album features 12 new tracks, mostly originals, and leans in a more contemporary pop direction than Slick Chick. Critics who have heard previews are saying it is her most realized effort to date.
