with Roger Daltry: In 1985 we were touring the UK and often stayed at the Chiswick hotel in Chiswick. It was a fave destination for us. One day John Albani just happened to see none other than Roger Daltrey just casually strolling by. He chased him down and explained to Roger that we were a Canadian rock band, the fact that we were HUGE Who fans (to this day I still swing my mic around like Daltrey unless it’s a wireless!) and well, basically gushed like a fan boy. Turns out Roger had heard of us and was delighted. He invited us down to RAK recording studios in London – where he was recording his 6th solo album Under a Raging Moon – for a studio tour and photo op. He was incredibly gracious and kind and it left a lifelong impression on me…

Hello Lee(Karen)
Its been a long time since ive indulged into the musicial annals of lee Aaron ,but what a joy your music has brought to me . This site is great, takes me back especially seeing Dan Gallager(RiP)and the different eras. It has been a soundtrack of my life from seeing you with Frank Soda ,and at the King Eddie in Guelph ,Ont,to hearing you mature and grow musically into a remarkable Jazz and Blues performer …what a creative transition .I believe only one such as yourself could make that transition as well and as smooth as you have .
Of all the Canadian rock acts of yesteryear only you have evolved and grown with such class and grace ….for that thank you
I enjoy Metal Queen .Body Rock ,and Emotional Rain as well as the Beautiful Things …each one has a time and a special place .
Thank you for sharing your spirit and passion for all music …I’m waiting for the LeeAaron country album “Home on the Range” (lol..kidding) but if you did one in sure it would be as awesome as your other creations .Keep playing ,keep singing and stay beautiful …I look forward to seeing you again .Peace
Heard K.K. interviewing you the other day on GiantFM in Niagara – and it was so great to hear you reminisce and reflect on years gone by. Had to laugh when K.K. mentioned Tiny Talent Time, tho. Anyways, saw you back in the day (mid 80s) at Tony’s East in Scarberia. It was a great night, totally enjoyed the show. Many years later briefly rubbed elbows with one of your band – think it was your guitarist at the time…delivered a bird cage to his place (he owned cockatiels if I recall). ‘Nuff on that. So you’re playin’ a gig in the Falls tonight – wish I was there. You still sound just as awesome as ever. Great hearin’ you again.
