Looking forward to your Rock and Roll Show at Rockpile later this summer. How did they ever get you to play R&R again – whatever they did good for them.
This message is for Lee Aaron. I hope you’ll be famous to America again. Now that you pursued in jazz, there is one thing I would like to point out.
No pun intended. Somewhere in America, there is an 11 year old girl named Jazz trapped inside of a boy’s body. She’s totally amazing. Everyone accepted her for who she is. She might go for surgery. Who knows? If you google up I AM JAZZ, then maybe you should dedicate your song BEAUTIFUL THINGS to Jazz. I am sure Jazz would like that song.
I know u do a lota gigsl I was the cat last time u came to calgary on halloween weekend 2011, oct 29th. u invited me on stage and that was one of the BEST TIMES OF MY LIFE!!! I love u soo much!!!!! i’ve seen u 3 times and have been in the front row each time lol! I got some fantastic footage of u this past prefrormance at the deerfoot casino and would love to give u the footage that i got. its good and i just love u! im not asking for $ in any way lol i’m just a fan who loves ya and would b honored if u loved my footage of u! I find A lot of no name artists on http://www.ultimate-guitar.com!
When I look for some of your Songs I only find Metal Queen.
I would Rock if there was more Lee Aaron Songs on that site.
I’m a photographer from germany and in the 90-ties I did a lot of work for german music-magazines. Recently I went through my work of that time and found some pictures from a gig of you in the duesseldorfer phillipshalle (1991 December 14). There some on-stage and backstage shoots. One – in my opinion – really shows another side of you than just the typical “hardrock-lady”. If you are interested, just let me know how I can send you these pictures (printed or electronical as jpg) and I will.
Keep on making music and being creative!
Many greetings from Germany,
Hi Lee. Hi Johan. I hope this finds you awesome as ever! I was talking to Johan on Sunday about Lee Aaron performing at a summer festival and he suggested to contact via this link. Can you please contact me by emai and I can call you or you can call me? whichever.. I didn’t have any cards on me. Johan knows where and when and who the festival is. Thanks.
Hey Lee My name is Tara. My husband and I own a karaoke company and almost every night get asked if we’ve found any Lee Aaron yet. I was just wondering if there was a way of getting some songs for your fans to act like rockstars to? I’ve been searching for a while and also would love to be able to sing your songs as I’ve been a huge fan since the 80′s and would fantasize about sneaking into the Misty Moon or the Crazy horse in Halifax, NS to see you! Hahaha You bring back good old and new memories for all your fans. Thank you so much! Please contact me if you could for any information. Cheers From all your fans on Vancouver Island!
My name is Chris Hall. I’m a Canadian Producer/Composer and I’ve written a musical about an ancient Goddess Inanna. My partner is a Joanne Camilleri. She is one of Canada’s leading authorities on ancient dance. We are looking for a singer for the show. Lisa DelBello was going to do it until she ran into family troubles.
If this interests you I can send you audio and video and bring you up to date.
I think you are a great singer and I also think this might work for you.
Thanks for listening to me.
Chris Hall
So I found out a little while ago that you and I share exactly the same birthday – that’s right, July 21, 1962. Have you ever met anyone else born on that day? Me neither. But I understand that you are in the Lower Mainland, and I am over in Victoria. Coffee? We could compare notes (we are pretty different). Think of it as a “My Date with Drew” moment.
Hi Karen,
It’s Tony (going way back to the early 80′s) here in Toronto. I travelled a lot back then to see you and the band. You gave me the nickname ‘Axe Man’ (Axe necklace I used to wear). We sang ‘Texas Outlaw’ together at many of your shows. Remember now?!
Anyway…. Still a big fan. Glad to see you are doing well and happy with your family out west! I hope to see a show some day and say hello again in person.
Take care!
Regards,
Tony

That’s a cool story. You remember any exact dates and places you saw Lee? I’m looking for old dates, pics, setlists for the archive at my Lee Aaron fanpage. Please check it out http://www.leeaaron.se
Johan,
Sorry bud…. I don’t remember the exact dates. I saw the band so often in those days, I never kept track. I do have some pictures from those gigs (not many), and some great cherished autographed stuff from Karen and the band in the ealy days.
I’d like to get audio or video of me and Karen doing ‘Texas Outlaw’ together, but it’s been fruitless so far!
I will check out your website!
Cheers!

Uh, Mommy Greening..any idea when you and or the hubby are going to come up with some new jazz music. I know, the rock biz is busy and so are the kids…just asking..kinda miss listening to good music…know what im saying.
No need to post…just wondering.
Hi Lee,
i came to hear you music and songs only 3 days ago! can you believe it!! wasted already 20 years! (33yr now).
i am completely obsessed of you! kept playing your songs over and over… if i get a personal reply from you, i’m going acknowledge you in my phd thesis. promise!.
Hi Lee, I’m also a displaced Toronto musician who’s now living in Vancouver. You and I are the same age, so it’s safe to say we have similar tastes in music (Max Webster was also one the first bands that made a real impression on me when they played my high school in North York). I played guitar and sang in many Toronto bands during the ’80s (The Vision, Red Letter, Jump), one of which was a Journey tribute band called Positive Touch. The singer in that band was Kevin James LaBrie, of Dream Theater fame. I’d heard that you were responsible for Kevin getting his initial audition with Dream Theater. Is this true? Cheers and all the best. Rob.
Helllllllo Lee. Saw you at the Langley casino a few years back with Prism. Still as beautiful as ever. Loved the show and the meet n greet after.
Just wondering if you have any local venues coming up in the future. I moved to the island now but would make the trek back to Vancouver if need be.
Let me know. Thanks for many great years of excellent music. Still listening to it 25 years later.
Rob

Hi Bobby,
Yes, Lee will be selling the Live in Sweden DVD and other merchandise at her shows. If she is able to, Lee will also be available for meet & greet, autographs, photos, etc after the show.
hi lee grew up listening 2 u.u r the best.i have a comment.in85 u said u could never see urself singing longe music, then i saw u later on the vicky gab show singing lounge music .wat happened? no disrepect intended.thanks.
Hello whoever replies to these things. I am trying to get ahold of a dvd called lee aaron video collection. I tried ordering something from hmv and 3 years later I still havent recieved it. I also dont see it in the store on this site. Any ideas how I can get it sooner?
Hi Marcie,
The videos on that set are owned by someone else (Universal, I think) and so we don’t have the rights to release them. I do not know the status of the DVD collection you are looking for, but I think it may be discontinued. Your best bet would be to check for used versions, possibly on eBay or Craigslist.

hi lee
i’m going to the bathurst show in july and was wondering if you have have some kind of meet and greet with your fans before or after your show . I have my original bodyrock album from the 80,s that i would love to get it signed by you thanks
Lee Aaron is always available for autographs and photos at a meet and greet table after her shows and loves to meet the folks who enjoy her music and concerts!
To Herman, and to everyone who wants Lee to come to their town – it’s up to you, not Lee. You need to call your local promoters and venues and tell them you want to see Lee Aaron in your town. When they hear from enough fans, they will book her, and I assure you she wants nothing more than to play a town where the citizens begged for her. She had a great time in Sweden last year, after the Swedish fans petitioned the festival to get her. That’s really all it takes, so go do it!
I just read the article in your “Bio”. I had no idea that Metal Queen gave you so much grief! But I have to tell you….. I never thought of you that way! I didn’t know how controlling records labels are. I can totally appreciate where you are coming from. I always thought your were an awesome female singer with an unbelievable voice with unmatched confidence. Of all the female singers, your voice is the only voice I wish I could be gifted with. Your voice is truely a gift.
I realize that you were catorgorized and stereotyped, however, you should never hide from Metal Queen. It has made you part of the person you are today, with all your wisdom and expirence. You were part of the Candian music scene and a very important conpenent of that. You can’t erase it….why would you? You should be proud of that. It’s really hard to get into the music business, let alone as a Canadian female in the 80′s. You had to work 100 times harder!
I have been a fan of yours since, well……forever! You and your music are part of my history, part of who I am………a strong, confident “Metal Queen”.
I notice that you are coming to Sweden Rock in June. Looks like I will miss that show, and since I’ve wanted to see the Lee Aaron band live since the mid 80s that’s bad news. So while you’re in Scandinavia why not come next door and do a show in Oslo as well? We’re much nicer than the Swedes anyway…
You are coming to Sweden Rock Festival!!!!
Yeah, I love it! Cant wait to see you, we used to watch Metal Queen over and over again, play & rewind on our video. You are great & I´m a great Karen fan
Dear Ms. Lee Aaron,
I have been a fan of yours for a long time. I would like to regest an autograph, or if possible, an autographed photograph of you.
