Today my friends Heart will play Rock For The Cure, a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society, at Mattawa Voyageur Days. The wristbands for the show sold out months ago.

Lucy, one of the key organizers for this cool festival overlooking the Ottawa River (which I have performed at twice!) has battled, and beat cancer more than once. Her most recent recovery being nothing short of miraculous – and she’s back at the helm, working to make this years festival another great one.

It’s nice to see rock stars doing their part. Thank you Ann and Nancy!
