Canadian metal queen Lee Aaron has successfully re-invented herself as a jazz diva. If she stays on this track for the rest of her career (and she should), expect her to be recognized as a very talented musical artist. Her fan base is sure to increase.

At a recent gig to promote her new cd Slick Chick, Ms. Aaron showed a packed house at Healey's in Toronto what to expect:
-Stage Presence--Wow! Shrugging off the cliché jazz singer evening gown, Lee performed in a pair of red leather pants to die for. She struts around the stage like the performance queen she is. Sexy, sultry and stylish.
-The Band--Incredible! Hard driving when needed--mellow jazz in all the right places. This rounds out a very talented, polished act.
-Covers of standards in a style that is uniquely Lee.
-New material that will see her recognized as a jazz composer.
-If nominated for a Juno Award this year (and she should be) expect SLICK CHICK to win. Other awards and recognition of her many musical talents are sure to follow.
