Lee Aaron is a true performer, with style, a dynamic stage presence, and true talent. Together with her very fine, and well rehearsed band, they put on a show that takes you from hot to mellow. Lee was a delight to work with in every sense of the word. The band is made up of truly nice people who love what they are doing.

The wife and I just flew back from the Winnipeg Jazz Festival. It was great. Got to take a look at Lee Aaron doing her new jazzy stuff ... she was excellent in my opinion.

Lee Aaron was in Regina last night at Bushwakker's Brew Pub and put on a great jazz performance with her band, the Swinging Barflies. She seems to have made a smooth transition into this musical genre and I'm glad to have been there for her debut performance in Regina. I encourage any classic rock fans out there who have a chance to see Lee and the band perform their jazz stylings should do so - well worth it.

I never had the opportunity to see Lee Aaron live during her rock era, but I still listen to those CD's regularly. I have seen her jazz show at least 7 times over the last 3 years, and I will snap up the new CD as soon as it comes out. During those jazz shows, some with as little as 25 fans in a small, comfy martini bar, I experienced her up close (like she was standing 5 feet in front of me). I realised back then that jazz is now her love and her life. I eagerly await her return for a couple of more shows. The metal queen is gone, let's all move into the present and throw our support behind her now. LS.

Subject: LA's Musical Direction
I like the look of the new official web site. Great job! As for LA abandoning Heavy Metal to focus on Jazz or other music, all power and success to this best of Lady musicians. It will disappoint a few hardcore metal fans who may never see her do a live Rock performance. That's tough and I do sympathise with them. As for me, I will still see the same beauty in her and still feel the same magical touch her music delivers. I look forward to her next CD and just can't wait to buy it.

Where have we been...your show at the above noted venue was SO entertaining...good vibes between band members, great songs. Really liked the "Handcuffed to a Fence" and the one done with Joel Kroecker. We first saw Joel at the "Gathering" in Fernie a couple of years ago and knew that he was on to bigger and better things. There's nothing that Diana Krall and Norah Jones have that you don't have...all the best and KEEP ON SINGING NO MATTER WHAT...
